6. A New Baby Boy

Soon you will change dirty pants

Have fun as you watch him grow

Sharing firsts and learn to go slow

Falling in love enjoying each smile

Time for self may wait awhile
Whispering to him a sweet lullaby

Calm as can be holding him tight

Listening for him asleep in the night

Finding the key for your sleep at night

Whispering sweet nothings as he feeds himself life

Loving him dearly; protecting him fiercely

A gentleness has moved in; from the start

Bursting with love; captured your heart.
