Breathe Baby Breathe

If you can’t call me baby, then I can’t be loud

It’s a part of me that’s never been out

I’m ready for something I’ve never had

Listen in the darkness; no, I’m not bad

Qigong is my thing, quiet amid strife

Morning creativity; my way of life

Life has changed; came to a halt

Been in deep freeze; now I am out

Haven’t had a say; maybe this coming year

Not sure what’s happening; tears combining with fear

A child of joy is happening; bubbling in the breeze

Coming as the dawn before the deep freeze

Yes, I matter; oh, I matter; I have the floor

Speak to me of comfort; include me if you can

Accepting the breeze as I breathe

Accepting the breeze as I breathe

I can relax now, let go of the hold

Yes, call me baby, be ever so bold

Stand up for myself, gently inspire

Breathe baby breathe

Ancient silent listening trembling aloud; smells awaken breathe in, breathe out

Love listening, hearing, singing; Universe as home.
