I have some things that I must say and do
So let’s have some funnin’; let’s have some funning
With all the things I want to do with you.
There’s things I will hate; there’s things I will make
I don’t want a day to be got through
I’ll listen to my insides; spent some time outside
Make me a plan so not feeling blue
Times I will cry; times I will laugh
Remembering all that used to be
So make me a list of everything I wish
And take one step on it to set me free.
Will there be toys; will there be noise
Reminders of when I was a child
So what makes me smile so I don’t run a mile
Find ways to spend time with you awhile
Email, phone or text, cards, letters, next
There is so much special and fine
Presence more than presents, I can be present
Face time can make my heart sublime
Cooking traditional meat; putting on a feast
Knowing if there is a point in that.
Start a new tradition; sing a new rendition
Can I see or feel Christ in that?
Christmas in the city; can be just as pretty
Christmas in the country is a CD I found
Making every day a better Christ mas day
I can sing my heart out when you’re around.
I am bound
Until I’m found
While I unbound
