I was in it to win it; came up short; Tennis as in life; every moment counts
We stayed in the game right to the end; glad I’m no longer mad at myself
Squealing in a car; a belt or a fan; watch my surroundings; more than a glance
Under full moon; process as I drive; living life of privilege at this time
Twenty twenty-five; a year of letting go; as I play piano in a dance studio
Should I golf seven am or set a tee time; so many ideas in this life of mine;
In everyone’s life there comes a time; Daily minute choices; I now make mine
What we do affects each other; we are partners in life; be coming free
Choosing together; live in harmony
Discordant chords as we learn to live; when death surrounds; connect with old friends
Death and more death in my life this week; Sign of my age but one was not
When life and death around us; balance is sought
Let it go; not mine to control; time to unwind; chart a new course in time
More years coming being sublime; caring peace I know I will find
I don’t want different; Loving all that is.
Shop up my winnings; celebrate; clean a little more; walk out the door
So much to learn; be gentle and kind; all the frustrations; most not mine.
Do I want different; loving all that is.
When outside looking around; I listen inside for the next sound
Here I am seeing “Genealogy” sign; enough of the past; I’ll be fine
I Know when to stop; enjoy me and mine.
