My kids are all gone; Yet we are one
Four hours sleep must be enough
Here I am exploring the deep
Every day different like ne’re before
Explore it all shed what is no more
Clean up house attend to what I eat
Find new ways to get enough sleep
Listen to my body; learn a new dance
More in the moment; take a chance
Life and death; enjoy starry skies
Listen to music, check for the lies
Someone else’s beliefs I swallowed down
Review thoughts to remove my frown
Fun and laughter; sorrow and tears
It’s all here; each and every year
Care for each other; listen to the fear
Gentle compassion release the fear
