Lost in an oasis; an oasis of strength
My child inside is speaking to me
Give her room so she can be
Enjoying life how it’s supposed to be
Life could be easy, Life could be fine
If I keep living a life sublime
Speaking out as I listen within
Give my heart a chance, quiet the din
Comfort the sorrowing, crack open again
Allow others their tasks to end their pain
Treat me as always with love and with care
It’s time to tell how I got out of there
The channel of love from down in the deep
Is connected to all awake and those still asleep
Catch up to the past, review awhile
Put it to rest and all with a smile
Enjoy each day, comfort at last
As our days our numbered could be our last
My child inside ready at last
Comfort and caring outlived the past
Fine tune my life, continue the quest
And through it all, get enough rest
