Supposed to be about clear water
And I think of the murky cistern
I also think of the dugout
It wasn’t really clear
The dish water when we had
No running water
Was sometimes dirtiest I’ve seen
I am trying to think of clear water
And holy water came to mind
I used to dip my hand inside
Shake out the cross front of my hide
Mom used to pull out the holy water glass
If a storm came rushing by
I don’t have faith that it did much here
But the water was clear as it went rushing by
Actually, today as I came to class
Thought about soaking my foot
The hot tub water was clear as glass
Would have been okay to sit on my ass
Decided I’d rather share my writing
Can make a new decision end of this
Clear exceptionally clear
Water might bring me much bliss
We can’t live without
Water, exceptionally clear, water
Cool, Clear
Water
I decided to have a drink!!!!
