Today’s a day like many others
No longer lying under covers
Up before the sun has risen
Coming together
Out of prison
I am here
Yes, out in the world
Breaking a part
Dream on, as I need
I still want
All that I have had
Such love that has been given
Unlocked the door
My self-imposed prison
Won’t you listen to me?
As I pour out my heart
Reaching back
Pulling forth
Creating a way to get what I need Repeat I am here
My body imposed
Straight jacket inside; no longer died
Here and now; exposed alive
Time to allow
Freedom again Repeat I am here & I still want
