In storage no more
Letting out the pain
Giving it back Just like the rain
Rivers of tears Run down my face
Allow them now No where to race
Disperse as I will At the End of My Life
My spirit freed Won’t that be nice
Who cares for me Many of You Do
What can I feel When the pain is real
Riches don’t matter Neither do looks
Giving up oneself All of my books
Retreat in time Rest awhile
Respond in kind Hopeful well
Within me again Starting to build
Growing alive Out of the mud
The dirt in me Around me I See
Transforming again With my pen
And help of others Accepting their gifts
Of time and love Listening within
Not alone On this journey
Some would call Home
